Flightpath makes machine-tested golf tees from a low-friction material designed to help the ball travel cleaner and straighter. Despite solid science and a built-in alignment guide, all five Sharks passed.
What Is Flightpath?
Flightpath golf tees are made from a tough, low-friction material that helps the ball travel cleaner and straighter. Each tee is machine-tested and marked with a built-in guide to help players line up their shots. The concept came from Daniel Whalen, a scientist who wanted to fix small performance issues golfers deal with.
The Shark Tank Pitch
Mike Sierra and Caroline Castille asked for $300,000 for 10% equity, valuing the company at $3 million. They launched the brand in 2020.
The Deal
No deal. All five Sharks backed out despite the product’s scientific approach to golf tee design.
